I've used Stanbridge Motors for nearly 2 years now and have found them to be very helpful.They don't overcharge for... anything and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have got the work done that you needed.I've got my Mot due in January and my Renault will be heading back there again so I can take advantage of the expertise they have there to keep me on the road for another year.read more

Absolutely brilliant. I took my car to the garage and had a word with Carl because I was hearing a noise that I... couldn't work out what it was. I told them that I needed the car for a 400 mile round trip at the weekend to visit my son.I told to come back in the afternoon and the would have a look. When the checked later they found the front spring had snapped. They ordered the part and by 4 pm I was driving the car back home. Thank you guys. I will now see my son this weekend.read more

I had an MOT done on my taxi & it failed on rear brake calliper. They gave me the quote for the parts & one hour... labour to do the job. Upon collection of my taxi I looked at my bill and it was less than quoted, owner said it only took three quarters of an hour to do the job. They could quite easily have charged me for the full hour and I would not have been any wiser. Honesty pays and goes a long long way. I was so happy with the service I received. I have booked in my Daughter's car for MOT this week too & I will bring my wife's car to them for next MOT. THANK YOU!!! Stay safe everyoneread more

How you can fail a vehicle on a rear outer sill, when the same garage did the Mot repairs on the exact spot 12 months... earlier is beyond me. Obviously the previous repairs weren't done correctly and all the corroded areas of the sill were not sufficiently cut out!read more

In order to fix oil leakage for my car, Standbridge has given the quote.Standbridge charged £49.50 to provide the... quote itself. It was my fault, that I should gone to Halford as they do free repair check and provide the quote too. I was hoping that Standbridge may charge some minimum fee of £25 to £30. However, paying around £50 to get the quote is bit shock to me. :( I should have asked their quote / inspection fee before they inspect it. OR They should shared this quote estimation detail to provide the quote.read more

Very surprised with positive reviews !! AVOID AT ALL COST !!! Was quoted £810 for heater matrix to replace in Focus (no... heating). According to SM matrix and pipes to replace, cause old ones were cut off !!?? B...……….t, rip off. Took it to professionals -repair took 15min- nothing to replace - fraction of price. There were laughing when I showed quote from Stanbridge - it was just swapping pipes and debleeding system - nothing broken, leaking or faulty - all works like charm and I saved a lot..........in regards to ur reply: once again matrix is not faulty, no leaks,works fine, pipes are ok, just swapped places (that's all it was), duck tape could be used by previous owner to mark them maybe, £440 for 15min labour seems a lot. My repair was done professional looks and works great (no cable ties, tapes etc) Admit wrong diagnose - we all making mistakes. Your rating doesn't prove much in this business as ur repair on focus would work as well but would involve replacing working parts. Same could be with your 5 star ratings. maybe someone brought car with faulty injectors and you've done full engine replacement with new injectors. Repair will work obviously but customer will have massive bill and good engine replaced. Normal thing: easier to buy new laptop then fix one with broken screen - but is it cheaper and FAIR ? Credit to you for using genuine parts, shame that not needed !! Good luckread more
